I CAN, I WILL, I’M DUE!

Jul 25 by Alex

OH’ BABY, it’s been way too long and we are so very overdue. Since we’ve last spoken I’ve been wedding banded, honeymooned, blown out 27 candles, reality televised, and then recently sprung in the Spring by a minor life changing pee-on-a-stick moment.

Yes, it was positive (a euphoric heart attack all in one) which means that within one year I went from a legal solo artist to soon-to-be team of three.

…And I couldn’t possibly be more excited about it.

This whole “lets keep secrets until the second trimester” thing was just not for me, pure torture to be exact, but now that I’ve made it to week 13 –and whew am I happy I made it—I’m proudly coming back to you with “I Can, I Will, I’m Due”.

Yes, playing with a little name change! It felt necessary.

The caricature’s belly has been broadened, as mine is quickly beginning to mirror, and Pinterest board’s swapped from receptions to rocking chairs. What a blink.

But, more importantly, this journey’s about to “bump” on up to a whole new level of endless do’s and don’ts, lessons learned, and changing parts – and tables – all built on the original foundation of “I Can, I Will, I DO!”s search for healthier habits, a transforming “me”, and guinea pig willingness to be the one to trial and error just about everything that’s out there.

For now I’m off to nap and pee – thank you to progesterone and the little peach sized baby pushing down on me. So much more to come, and absurd amounts of catching up to do, continue to follow along with IDIWID!

Wonderful and I look forward to more posts!
    XO

You’ve got it! Get the latest and greatest right here. You CAN you WILL you DO want to do it. Promise!!

If anyone gets what it’s like, to feel like you gain weight from simply LOOKING at food, it’s Alex. And as soon as her handsome hubby-to-be got down on one knee, she knew she needed to DO something about it.

That’s when it hit her, “If I CAN lose the weight, I WILL feel my absolute best before I say “I DO”!”.

So that’s just what she did.

With a LOT of hard work, mental motivation, burpies and a few bumps in the road, she ultimately said “I DO” to herself FIRST and danced down the aisle with ease.

But as the story goes, first comes love, then comes marriage and now, yep you guessed it, she’s pushing that little baby in a baby carriage!

This journey may have begun with a ring but certainly didn’t end at the altar. Can she shake the pregnancy pounds and maintain semi-sanity as a working stay-at-home-first-time-new mom? Not without you, a cup of coffee or two, and her ever-so-loved mantra of “I Can, I Will, I DO!”.
